Creation of a dream

I should have started this two years ago! That`s when the dream of Fibre Dreams began to take shape!
So after this long journey i am ready to start on the road trip of a lifetime.
I shall boldly go onto the Internet with my handmade products. I have a transporter full of the extra materials and equipment i think other fibre craft people would like to have as well...
I`ve got the stuff now i need to learn how to set up a website...or set up shop on big shop site (you know the bay thingeo!).
I will even learn how to post photo`s of my products.
Fibre Dreams.....First frustration was not understanding why the telephone number is not recognised when i tried to .com my blog site? And why you have to have a fax if you are setting up as a business?? And where do i go to get these answers....
But a successful day on the knitted blooms broaches!!
So at this point in time if you have experience setting up fibre craft websites i would be grateful for any positive comments!
If you have any interest in the fibre arts i would apprieciate discussion!
I look forward to reading your comments and watch this space for further episodes of Fibredreams creations!

Is ma hair alright?!

A little this and that tactics going on!!

So little time to keep up! Isn't this a beautiful brooch...straight copying from a Royal School of Needlework book on Stump work by Kate Sinton...this adorns my winter coat and I'm constantly receiving compliments. One of the reasons I am trying to teach myself Stump work is using the technique for a book I have had in my mind for years...years! So far I have several sketches of scenes within the story....I have made a start on the cover... Its finished but not complete as I have to wait for the measurements from the completed pages...I love it from its layered fabrics to the printing ink colour and the hundreds of hand stitching...and Shisha mirrors! I have my Introduction page finished too. Here's a detail image of the capital letter... So next came a Forest scene...this was my first choice to do as I 'thought' (!) it would be an easy one to start as I knew the techniques I wanted to use...here's the sketch for the page....
